The conference about Odours in the Environment organized by the German Association of Engineers (VDI) on a biannual basis will take place the 20th and 21st of November 2019 in the city of Bremen and the call for papers is open. Due date to present your paper is the 15th of March. The cost of attending the event is 1040€. As a way to promote participation in this conference, conference speakers will attend the event for free.
If you know a bit of German, this is the place to be this year if you care about odour management. The presentations are usually very interesting and deal with many innovative topics related to measurement of odours in ambient air and emission measurement, legislation and court cases, odour abatement, standardization and case studies. The call for papers will end the 15th of March.
After the success of their last Odour Study Day, that took place on the 24 October 2018, Silsoe Odours has announced the next one-day course for the 31st January 2019. This is the 13th edition of this event and as usual it will be delivered at their odour laboratory at Wrest Park in Bedfordshire, UK.
In 22nd- 23rd of November 2018, the 7th National Odour Pollution Test and Control Technology Seminar and the Odour Regulatory and Governance Summit Forum was successfully hosted by the State Environmental Protection Key Laboratory of Odour Pollution Control (SEPKLOPC) and China Environmental News.
