A group of experts will be attending this 1^st of December 2016 in Leeds an event about Emissions and Odours Control organized by Aquaenviro. It is now a couple of years since the last event about Best Practice in Odour Control Management that took place the 6th February 2014 in Nottingham.

   Nuisance emissions can have a substantial impact upon the quality of peoples’ life especially when it is associated with waste handling and treatment plants, wastewater and sludge treatment plants and the application of materials to land. In the UK, nuisance odours from industrial, trade and business premises are regulated by local councils under the Environment Act 1990 and controlled under H4 guidance.

   The second International Odour Conference (MKO 2017) is being organized by the company Environmental Odour Consulting in cooperation with two Polish universities: Gdansk University of Technology and Wroclaw University of Technology. This is an initiative taken by some known experts in this field to talk about the odour management and measurement techniques nowadays. This event will take place in Krakow, Poland between the 20^th and 21^st of April, 2017.

  Last year around 60 people gathered for two days in Gdansk, Poland to discuss about issues related with odour management. The first International Odour Conference (MKO 2016) took place in April this year and the interest shown by the attendants is a sample of the interest in this country to increase the knowledge on managing odours.

   Once again the Conference MKO2017 is being organized by the Canadian company Environmental Odour Consulting EOC, with support from Gdansk University of Technology and Wroclaw University of Technology.
