sesion02 atienza04   Olfactometers and equipment of dilution used in odour laboratories must be calibrated regularly. It is one of the quality requirements of the UNE-EN 13725 standard.

In this way, Calygas plays an important role as calibration laboratory accredited to the UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard.

mariadelcarmengutierrez 3   Biofiltration is the most widely used technique for eliminating odours in waste treatment plants (WTP). Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are among the odorous compounds emitted by WTP, and serve as variables to measure odour emissions depending on the type of aeration process used.

In this work, the performance and efficiency of an industrial-scale biofilter was assessed where composting was the main source of VOCs and odour emissions.

sesion01 pagans01 Custom   Odour generation is an inherent side product of waste water storage and treatment. Encroachment of developments in the proximity of sewage treatment works increases the risk of adverse odour impact on receptors.

Quantification of individual odorous processes helps operators understand which aspects of their works may be responsible and offers opportunities to find solutions to problems that may exist.
