Badania przeprowadzane w celu poprawy sytuacji związanych z oddziaływaniem zapachów na środowisko są często skomplikowane i wymagają działania wielopłaszczyznowego: efektywnej diagnozy emisji, modelowania emisji zapachowej i wreszcie wyboru i wdrożenia najlepszego rozwiązania poprzez ocenę techniczno - ekonomiczną (CAPEX/OPEX) różnych technologii korygujących
Niniejsze badanie zawiera szczegóły tego procesu zastosowanego w dwóch prawdziwych zdarzeniach.

Abstract
Any technological study focused to reduce the odour impact must be based in several steps: from an effective diagnosis, followed by modeling different treatment scenarios, and afterwards doing the Technical – Economic Evaluation (CAPEX / OPEX) of different corrective tecnologies like, biofilters, High Efficiency Biofilter, chemical scrubbers, adsorption systems and thermal oxidisers. The selection of one or other solution will depend on the main characteristics of the odour emission, the legal requirements, if the installation is close to villages, and the costs. In the present paper, it is explained the different steps of the study for two real cases.
