The 6th edition of the international conference on Biotechniques for air pollution control will take place in Gent, Belgium this time. This biannual international conference is an international showcase for anything related to the application of environmental biotechnology for air pollution control, treatment processes in bioreactors and clean (bio) fuels production.
Some of the topics that will be discussed are:
- Treatment of air pollution: use of bacteria, fungi, algae, and plants
- Bioreactors for air pollution control and bioconversion processes
- Prevention of air pollution: production and development of biofuels, such as (bio) hydrogen, biodiesel, (bio)ethanol, biogas, or desulfurized fuels Algae
