Vaughan Harshman has replaced Carla Dillon as the new chair of the Air Quality and Odor Control (AQOC) Committee of the Water Environmental Federation (WEF) and now he has being interviewed in the podcast of WEF, Words on Water, about the next WEF odour conference that will take place in Cincinnati, Ohio and other odour issues.
The Air Quality & Odor Control Committee is a very active team of the WEF that counts on over 100 members these days. In this podcast Vaughan discusses how odour problems develop for water utilities, methods for controlling and reducing odours, and community engagement that happens when there is a problem. He also talks about corrosion issues that can accompany odours and the role of aging infrastructure in odours.
The organizing committee of the 7th International Conference on Environmental Odour Monitoring & Control (NOSE2020) has decided to postpone the deadline for abstract submission to 10th of February.
